A walk in the rain, drizzly day
Wiggly wet worm on the road, a pause to say, “Hey”
Creek waters, an ugly brown shade
Levels higher, a duck to swim or wade
Prolonged staring contest started by two deer
First to run loses at onset fear
Hah, Op for the win
The white-ass tail hop through the field together for the grin
Despite being a hazard to gardens and cars on the road, nice they seem
Connected together, paired like a team
Hunter, I am not
With my phone camera, only a photo shot
Imagine a life always on the run
Would it be an adventure? Would it be fun?
