Started my walk off strong with a little “Dana Pride”.

08/18/2026 Today, I took a morning walk
Other than “hi” to this or that passerby, I did not talk
I took frequent pauses, observed the sea
Fish, seals, human paddle boarders… lots of activity
Watched a man dock a boat
A weird duck deep dive, then float
Saw a lone crab down below
Looked for novel boat names, ones I didn’t know
To spend a morning, the perfect way
Absorbing the warmth of each sun ray
The harbor, enjoy it, I do
Even with the construction and pending changes too

“Reel fun” remains one of my favorite boat names.

Lol, my plan was to meet someone who owns a boat so that I can go for a ride (plan fails every time I am here)

I did see a seal.
Teaser (lol, not sure I trust that boat) … I also saw a boat named “Fish lips” lol.
I’m not sure if this is a normal (healthy) duck. He was kind of weird, quick to dart, and a diver. I shall name it Jet.
