San Clemente Pier (San Clemente, CA)

07/16/2026 The San Clemente Pier holds a special place in my heart. I usually pay to park at Linda Lane because the main lot is usually full and San Clemente streets perplex me. I get lost fairly quickly (and Google does too). As you can probably guess, my favorite thing to do here is walk. If not occupied by children, you can swing at the beach (that’s cool!). Today, I crossed paths with the Hooked Youth Fishing Academy (aka., lots of kids with fishing poles). The proximal train track is iconic; it would not feel the same without it. The beach trail was partially closed for construction, so hopefully that opens back up soon! Overall, you cannot really go wrong with an OC beach with an ocean view in reach.

Lol, palm tree hat or no?
Felt like the overalls needed to be featured. 😀
Lol, {insert bird thought bubbles here}
The end of the pier (aka., fishing in gear).
Just hangin’ out with the strange birds.
Picked a favorite. 🙂
Walk the pier, ocean near.
Spotted a little “Summer” vandalism and I don’t hate it.
I live for natural low effort frames (like, how cute).
So tempted to join this little boy on the swings.
Beach Brotherhood.
I call this the “bird cage” lol.
I love this photo and I don’t currently know how to caption it, xo.

When I take a moment to reflect, I recall a past trip (stay-cay) that held some of my firsts, ventures to see the Christmas tree that is usually put at the end of the pier during the holidays (Santa usually shows up too), solo coffee ventures (I even walked from the beach to the San Clemente main street in the rain once), and the time I drove all the way there just to leave because parking was impossible!

Thank you, San Clemente Pier, for the treasured times. You will be missed! xo
