Today 07/14/26, I opted to visit one of my favorite locations… Woodbridge South Lake (Irvine, CA). This location has convenient parking, a gas station, The Lost Bean (organic coffee roasters), eateries, and plenty of outdoor seating. My favorite thing to do here is to walk the nearby sidewalk loop and look for turtles! It is a great spot to meet up with friends or go on a date. With respect to dating, I always joke: 1 loop (not interested), 2-loops (interest peeked, processing), and 3-loops+ (must be going well, lol). You do have to be prepared to dodge the duck and goose poop as you walk. Overall, this is a beautifully scenic place and I love it!
When I lived in Tustin, this is where I would go if I did not have the energy to go all the way to the beach. I have made memories here with different people and I have also solo ventured here frequently, too. Goodbye Woodbridge; you will be missed! xo
