6/21/26 10:10a.m., overcast sky
Opted for a movie at the local theater to help the time pass by
A creative little girl growing up and in need of a friend
Tech and toys, coexisting, message hit send
Both useful, each in their own way
Screentime and impact, a hot topic today
Play essential for learning, friendship building fun
Tech not a replacement for true connection when all is said and done
Word play embedded to elicit laughter here and there
Many valuable themes, still pondering to be fair

Thought(s):
At some point, children grow up and they do not play with their toys like they did when they were young
Toys can be donated (re-used)
Screentime can easily become addictive and/or overused (especially if in the bedroom or freely accessible)
Unmonitored screen time (chats) can open the door for potential harm (even if not intended)
Making friends is not always easy
Tech can connect individuals, but it is not a replacement for in-person interaction
Tech evolves and advances
True friends accept us as we are and do not belittle our likes/interests
True friends are there to call and show up when a need for help arises
Play is highly beneficial and should be modeled/encouraged
Memories are made when we play and spend time together
