Today, on my walk, a cute guy handed me a tiny red flower
A small act, that actually, holds a lot of power
On my face, it elicited a gentle smile
And it gave me something to hold onto for a while
I will never see that guy again, a California truth to be told
Yet, full appreciation for the heart-to-heart moment, bold!
