The Movie Theater Escape

Wired with a mind that struggles to rest
Even when mentally and physically taxed at best
To-do lists unending and work tasks on replay
Avoided (undone), in thy head, still they stay
Laundry, dishes, groceries, bills, reports, e-mails, and more
Postponed (matcha, read, tennis, walk), yet hours left unaccounted for
Productivity and charging, a balancing act
Desire to drop it, as a matter of fact
Movie theater escape (to Devil Wears Prada 2), whim went
119 minutes of plot distraction (slow down) well spent!

Comment: I am a little sad that movie theaters have lost attraction and attendance. 😦
Brief Movie Reflect: The movie character(s) and general themes mirrored the original. There was a quality balance of familiarity and novelty. The character personalities were unique and on point.
