While I sat on the sidewalk, a buzz entered my ear
A busy bee, at work, seemingly near
Normally such a sound or sighting would cause me to sprint far away
Curiosity, though, I decided to stay
From little pink flower to little pink flower, it flew one by one
Unbothered by the warmth of the bright shining sun
Repeat moving from a rapid fly to a steady still
Admiration for the transition ease, storage stomach skill
Is it Nectar? Is it Pollen? How does one know?
Flower attraction and a mutual relationship, ready to grow
Pollination, an essential process part
Unstung gratitude for this hardworking insect, tiny heart
