12/25/25 I just wanted to take a moment to say, “Merry Christmas.” When I first took this picture, I grinned at the thought of “Peace and oy”. It truly reflects how this Christmas has been for me. My “J” has been a little M.I.A… not quite as present this year. Last year, around this time, I had been at a peek of success while also feeling loss, resisting change, battling loneliness, and confused about where I belonged. One could say, in the end, I did not cope well with it all. Despite unintentionally entering a year of suffering and growth, I have learned from my experience. Though I have not fully felt the spirit of Christmas, I have admired the completion of a 1,000-piece country Christmas puzzle, felt immense gratitude for the generosity of coworkers/families/patients at work, consumed plenty of treats, and admired holiday decor (lights, clothing, etc.). It has been helpful to be reminded of the reason for the holiday season and to have faith as we approach a New Year. xo -Op
